i kid youuu not, but when i was around 5 or 7 years old, i admired my cousin because she has it. i thought it was sooo pretty that i literally wished i had it too i even remember staring at myself in the mirror and imagining what i'd look like if i had it. it's kinda crazy how childhood is probably the only time we see beauty without overthinking it. we just like what we like, no labels, no beauty standards, no flaws. we just see people. and idk, maybe that's why kids have the purest idea of beauty. it really makes me wonder how many insecurities we only ended up having because someone, somewhere, told us we were supposed to. maybe a lot of them were learned, not something we naturally felt in the first place :'(((
