@its.anya.lacey: I’ve heard so many people my age had the exact same experience on that site…which honestly isn’t surprising at all. Looking back, why was I allowed to sit completely unsupervised at my laptop talking to random strangers on the internet? My poor parents had absolutely no idea what was going on, and somehow we all just thought that was normal. It’s one of those memories that makes you laugh now, but also makes you realize how different the internet used to be. Safe to say I’ll be a little more informed when it comes to what my future kids are doing online.
