100%. I’m happy until I’m not. I’m proud of how far I’ve come. Down 125 lbs. bariatric Bypass 2022. Skin Removal 2025. Still maintaining BUT like you I see myself in the mirror sometimes and see that belly a little more than usual. Makes me sad. Then I think about I have come far. I am 47. I feel like I’m going through perimenopause and the bloating and or 1-2 lb gain on that because I always end up at the weight I have been maintaining since 2022. I’m glad I came across this I needed that. I am happy until I’m not. That hit me.

I’m stuck and in my own way. It’s fear. Last time I weighed this amount I was 26. I’m 56 next Thursday. I have 70-100 more to lose so I’m more than half way there. But I don’t know what it’s like to be smaller than I am right now. I don’t remember it. And I am scared and need to get out of my way.

I had gastric sleeve in 2014 and gastric bypass in 2021. I have been on a glp1 for almost 4 years by my bariatric surgeon. He says obesity is a disease and should be as one. I would never have been able to maintain my weight without it. I am happy with my body…..no but I am proud of the weight I have lost and being healthier now.
