I think about how the best version of Fabian is not at the beginning where he is so absolutely sure of who he’s meant to be and how he’s supposed to carry himself is concert only to meet Whitclaw. Meeting whitclaw and then chuggledown Bim broke ever sense of self that Fabian had to the point where feats were deleted off his character sheet which RP wise is so glorious and I think apart of what makes Fantasy high so great. I think about him denouncing his father’s ways in almost every aspect while keeping his pride for his father is absolutely perfect. Outgrowing his father and his teachings was never not going to happen. Doing it while still in high school was the shocker.
