Stimulant medication is sooo addictive that I have to have 3 separate reminders in my phone to make sure I actually take it.. 😏

Wait….they think we’re addicted to a med that we literally forget to take all the time because our brains are hardwired to forget while doing a million other things at once….?

Graduated college (after dropping out TWICE) and got a pharmacist technician certification. ADHD medication literally changed my life.

I was diagnosed at 40 with ADHD. 3 years on Adderall XR and I WISH I had this in school. It would have made my life so much easier.

From experience, the side effects I’ve experienced are: dry mouth, decreased appetite, being a functioning human being, etc.

Medication changed my life for the better. Yes, there are downside (sleep challenges being one of them) but the upside completely outweighs the negatives.

My doctor refuses to give me medication even though I’ve had a psych ed assessment in 2018 that showed I have ADHD. I haven’t had any stability EVER in my life and my life is messy because I’ve had untreated ADHD my entire life.

Literally.... "what if you become addicted?" You mean to the meds.... I have to take everyday...... or I forget I even have adhd and wonder why I'm struggling 3 weeks later because I forgot to make my meds for THREE WHOLE WEEKS?!

I got diagnosed with ADD at 51. I started taking medication. After that, I did everything I had an ‘idea’ I could could for 20 years and never did in 6 months. Finished and published my book, wrote a screenplay that is being produced and rebranded myself. I was a college dropout that barely graduated from high school. Best thing I ever did was take the medicine.

i’m so sick of having to dismiss people’s constant negativity around stimulants, they have literally changed my life, i just finished college and am going to uni, i have a job and am clean of all substances. let’s focus on the positives of these medications

Found out my really bad insomnia, chronic fatigue and chronic migraines were all symptoms of untreated adhd. Life feels so much lighter since I started medication 💜

THANK YOU! I've had a doctor treat me like a drug addict cause of my Vyvanse and she wanted me to work to get off it. I'm an attorney now, which I would have NEVER accomplished WITHOUT my Vyvanse!

you could tell me that stimulants would make me drop dead at 40, and I'd say "I'd make it to 40? sounds amazing".

I’ve found it’s a lot easier for me to keep my friendships on medication; mostly because my rsd is a lot more manageable, obviously still there.
