for example in Africa it was harder to live before and still now because of their geographical position they have less rivers connected to seas their climate is harsher due to them being pretty much on the middle of the equator which makes it harder to farm crop because of the sun and heat which also attracts more mosquitoes and animals that may carry diseases.
