My question is this: Why is building a career considered power, while raising a family is so often dismissed as laziness? If leadership is the standard, shouldn’t we expect it from both men and women—not just in earning an income, but in integrity, self-control, responsibility, and the willingness to carry the invisible labor of building a family? If raising children and carrying the mental load were the easy job, people would be lining up to do it. 😂 A healthy society needs both capable providers and capable parents. Neither role should be diminished.
