Seriously, I totally understand Cole's pain. It’s heartbreaking to see people saying he has other options when, in reality, no one knows how awful it is to have a choice taken away from you—ripped right out of your hands. If you watch Season 1, Episode 7—I think it's called "Out of Control"—which focuses on Cole, you realize just how shattered and sad he is; his parents spent so much money, yet his leg still doesn't work. Ultimately, all he wanted was to go back to playing like he used to. Even though he chose to become a coach in the second season, deep down, he really wanted to play again... and I think the only person who truly tried to understand and help him was Jackie. That’s when we realize that Cole and Jackie were the real couple all along and that they’re perfect for each other—I’m Team Cole, always have been!
