@alustysheen: My Sundays begin long before the world wakes up. I’m currently unemployed, so my weekdays usually start a little later, but Sundays are different. At 5am, I’m already up getting ready for my run club. Some mornings I’m exhausted, but I remind myself that I started this run club because I wanna inspire people to wake up on hard days just to run, and I have to see it through. We run 6km on easier days and 10km on others, and every run teaches me a little more about discipline. Seeing people show up for my run club always melts my heart. Afterward, I stop by the mall to pick up a few things for the week before heading home around 11am. Mum has usually finished making breakfast by then, but since I wasn’t home, I head into the kitchen and make lunch instead. My first meal is almost always around 2pm. I genuinely enjoy cooking, although washing the dishes is a different story. 😭 After eating, I take a deep nap from around 3:30pm to 6pm, then I’m back out by 7pm running errands and checking on our shawarma. Before I know it, it’s 1am and another Sunday has quietly come to an end. It may not look extraordinary, but I’m learning that a fulfilling life is built in these ordinary moments, showing up for yourself even when no one is watching.
