@essential.flavour: One block of butter and a whole lot of cookies 🍪 let’s make some butter biscuits with Karen! 🤗🤗 Full recipe below: Ingredients: 2 cups or 1 block of BONITA Butter, softened to room temperature 2 cups white sugar 2 large eggs 4 teaspoons vanilla extract 5 cups all-purpose flour ½ teaspoon salt Method: Preheat the oven to 180°C and line baking trays with baking paper. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar together using an electric mixer until the mixture is pale, light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, combine the flour and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix until a smooth dough forms. Divide the dough evenly into four portions. Mix your chosen flavour ingredients into each portion of dough. Roll each portion into a log shape, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least one hour. Slice each chilled dough log into evenly sized biscuits. Arrange the biscuits on the prepared baking trays, leaving a little space between each one. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Allow the biscuits to cool on the baking tray for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
