Bruh every bmw does that if it’s sits for a while the metal in the cap builds condensation turning the oil on the bottom of the cap milky pull the oil filter meat head

Had many cars have milky oil caps clean it and never comes back until you start doing short trips and never letting it warm up

It’s okay I had that on the E60 too it’s indeed condensation, my mechanic reassured me at that time and 2 oil changes since everything is alright.

if he's done the valve cover gasket there's a good chance he just didn't dry it properly if he cleaned it I've had that happen to me before I cleaned my valve cover before putting it back on and a bit of water got stuck in the baffles after doing an oil change the milk never came back
