This is such an interesting insight into how colonial systems sustain themselves. I don't want to assume anything of Nia and while I do think multiple conversations are happening at the same time and we're basically talking at each other. This conversation on sex, boundaries, feminism, coercion and patriarchy etc—is an interesting insight into how people see and navigate the world. Personally, I have seen a self-centeredness and lack of empathy I only could've intuitively perceived from many people... I'm glad you're not one of them @KJ. Freeman

I believe this innate reaction to throw “puritanical” in people’s faces with this conversation is almost directly correlated to the fact that they themselves refuse to see how theyve been manipulated by these types of men and instead just want us all to suffer their naivety. The sheer amount of women creators especially those that are black and neurodivergent defending this just proves that too many people place value in their sexual hunger, like go heal that sacral chakra now.

As a black trans woman who developed (intimately) before I transitioned, this conversation has been so interesting to me. My queer experiences and personal upbringing offered me a means of navigating this topic but hearing from so many women and thinkers have definitely widened my perspective. The realities of dating in today's world is honestly very hard and leaves everyone open to so many risk it almost seems like it is not worth it. Consistent high risk, with infrequent reward that usually is low. Society as a whole would have to change for dating to make sense. We, as a society, have a lot of work todo.
