Difference is, working a 9-5 you’re making money to survive. Streaming can make you life changing money, can do your own thing and will more than likely enjoy what you’re doing. Thats the massive difference

it's a lot easier to have the mentality to grind when your streaming a game that you love or watching videos with the chat, then it is to grind after getting off a shift that takes up your entire day

I would argue a 9-5 is likely easier. Work is work and it is what it is. You clock off at 5 and if you take work home that’s on you. A streamer being essential a social media influencer has their entire life on blast especially if they are successful. Getting recognised down Tesco and basically being expected to preform must be draining.

I used to stream for hours a day and it was pretty easy with or without people watching. 9 to 5 is way harder not even a debate.

less flexibility, with blue collar more physical, you get less money, you dont get bosses yelling at you, more opportunity for growth, youre more likely to enjoy the things you do, more flexible schedule so you can actually spend time with your family if you wanted to. the only thing harder is you get no rest when you first start. but ive met so many people that work 2-3 jobs they get off one and go straight to the next. not really comparable

I’ve done both. I’m now on shift patterns. Being a streamer is the easiest thing, however when your views are low it’s mentally hard.
