Okay hear me out, keep the curve 100% but get rid of the fixed ransom on top because I feel like that’s what’s minimizing the size of the window & making the proportions look weird. Have the window doors be full height! I know the dimensions aren’t accurate but I think something like this would look gorg

If you sent all the details including the 3d model and you got something totally different, I don’t understand why you are considering to keep it. Honestly, you payed for something, and you are in every right to return it, and either ask for your money back or just a complete redo of the window

I think a big rectangle would be the best option long term. You’ll be able to add organic curvature in other ways while also having the light and view fl the backyard

Is that vertical line within the big tape outline (to the right of current teeny window) a pillar or something? Do the giant window, split it around that pillar, and add another decorative pillar to the left so you’ve got 3 parts to the giant window. If that makes sense!

I hope you didn’t pay the price you agreed upon because that looks nothing like you asked for. If it wasn’t possible for the contractor they should have said they couldn’t do it. I would be so frustrated. It’s still cute but definitely different.

I think you should do a big rectangle with a thinner frame so you get as much glass showing as possible. I love the arch but I think it looks weird being in a rectangle cut out. Maybe change the cutout in the wall to match the curve so it feels intentional?

You’re gonna have to have it redone 😩 let your contractor know it’s very important for it to look as accurate as possible to the inspo pics and if he can send you pics of what he finds before it gets installed. Idk, but that’s how I’ve always done it with anyone I contracted. As artists we don’t do well with “surprises” lol
