kirito didn't only have a good reaction speed though, he excelled at many things. he had more knowledge than most on sao because of the beta test, he was good at games in general because he played them all the time, and he was also good at predicting movements and instantly deciding what to do from there (shown when he did the dodge the bullet line game in season 2.) not to mention, in a game like sao where you have to actually move your body and not just press some buttons, his previous experience with kendo could have been helpful.

but kirito is good at the game because of all the reasons they list, he was a beta tester so he knew how the game functioned, how the full dive worked, he knew the layout of the first 8 floors and attack patterns of the first 8 floor bosses, and used that knowledge to excel and progress faster than anyone, that one portion of the argument literally debunked itself and shows that is an unfounded take
