The editing keeps every emotional beat exactly where it belongs. And can we talk about that opening theme? The haunting vocalization gives me chills every single time. I had to go back and watch the entire drama again because I couldn’t let it go. This isn’t just another xianxia. It’s one of the most emotionally moving Chinese dramas I’ve seen.
