I dealt with Diverticulitis flare ups for 15 years until in October of 2025, I had a rupture and an abscess. I ended up having to have emergency ileostomy surgery.

You might need some antibiotics. Cause if stuff gets stuck for too long it can cause an infection.

Dealt with this for 3 years. Had surgery February of 2025 to fix it and it’s the best decision I ever made. Look into it. Fairly routine surgery and recovery wasn’t bad at all. Back in action in about 6 weeks
