You realize you can just major in management and get construction certifications to become one. Major in management, get construction certifications (blue beam, OSHA 30, etc) and learn to efficiently read drawings.

Go to a different COLLEGE. GO NOW, Pursue your dreams. Any excuse is not valid, it is because you don’t truly want it. If it’s money there are many colleges that cost the same. If not get the community college and do the actual classes there. Or GET fafsa, aid, or a scholarship(the money is usually small) but if you do the ones with the essays you have a good chance of you getting the money based on you WRITING passionately about the prompt (why you need the money, what you want to do, how does this scholarship apply to you.).

Industrial hygiene is pretty easy, I set up some air pumps and do some paperwork then doomscrool for 8 hours then collect the pumps and some more paperwork
