I’m actually writing a fic rn on the opposite, where Hannibal, longing for understanding, wishes for his feelings to be reciprocated. See, Hannibal doesn’t fully understand his feelings in their entirety, and as such Will starts acting… obsessive. It’s a WIP and idk hpw long it’ll take but I hope to present how both Will and Hannibal respond to the wish - Will gradually losing his autonomy in similar ways to the lost time from Encephalitis, and Hannibal starting to notice changes in Will’s behaviours. It’s much slower than the films presentation of the wish, but that should help to convey the psychological impacts
