Motherhood has also gotten a lot harder. Moms are expected to work and raise kids and do it all without family and neighbors there to support.

YES!! I have an 18 and 12 year old. I don’t hide much from my kids. It was even harder when I suffered from PMDD.

I am super honest about my motherhood experience with anyone considering it. it is SO hard, and I have faced many unexpected struggles, and truly you have to be so selfless as a parent and for me it has been so worth it and so rewarding, but I had to be willing to grow and change and work on myself. it may not be worth it to everyone. I was definitely so unprepared for motherhood!

4 out of my 6 kids are adults... the insanity NEVER goes away. I genuinely miss when they were tiny and loved me just because I existed. I love them all so stinking much. But it is so freaking hard to be mom.

I’ve always tried to focus on the balance. It’s hard- but also rewarding! And someone once said when does it get easier and someone said it just gets different! And there is truth to that having an 18 & 24 yr old! I’m still up at night but for different reasons lol
