I think its beautiful that you were able to adopt those girls. its people like you that we need more of in this world. I love your story, your family and all the girls!! And I love that you share this with the world. it needs to be talked about more to remove the negative stigma everyone holds towards it. you provide, love, care, nourishment, guidance and growth to those beautiful girls. you have given them the things they were missing or needed most. you and mr Courtney Cabrera are a gift ! ❤️

I absolutely adore what you and Mr. Courtney Cabrera have done with and for ALL SIX of your girls!! You can see the love and care from both parents and children. Your 3 foster/adopted girls happiness with you two and all sisters shine bright!! Never stop being you, you are absolutely AMAZING and from what I can see with the girls actions and what you choose to show, they all feel loved equal. They are happy and you do an AMAZING JOB being a mom! You understand all aspects of life for each and every one of them and their individual needs. Unfortunately i think a lot of the pro adoption creators don’t talk about it with the nuance and trauma informed place that you do!

Yeah there are a couple of creators that said all adoptions ahould be illegal but these people don't talk about the shit these kids go through at the hands of biology.

I follow cyndi hoffer also and she fostered and ended up adopting and she talks about this too. I love that you both speak the truth about it. Reunification is not always possible. Without adoption i wouldn't have my favorite cousin and first best friend.

I’ve had my daughter since I was 18 mom never came back for her and when dad and I split up she stayed with me. I’ve had her since she was a baby and will be 9 in January. I always have so many people ask me to tell my story but I’m so cautious about sharing because I’m like you and feel as if it’s her story and it has so many different twists and turns. I very much agree that being trauma informed is super important we’ve done counseling for years and there are some days I’m still trying to answer questions I have no answer too.

I was adopted at 6 and I’m now 22 it’s probably the best thing that’s ever happened to me! I may not perfectly get along with either of my adopted parents but they saved me!

Two things can be true at once, the system can be broken, and adoption can still be a beautiful outcome for some children. Families like yours help people see that side. I've followed y'all for a long time, and I've loved watching your journey, the fun moments and the hard ones you've chosen to share. if i would have been officially taken into foster care, I wouldn't have had to endure what I did for 5 years. Foster care could have saved my life.
