Girl, I hopped in the comment section to defend you. It was ridiculous and so unnecessary. I also mentioned and feel like it’s worth taking into account that being a KC area person myself, fashion in this area is not quite as “creative” or “out there” as it is on the coast or in bigger cities. You incorporate trendier looks that I don’t frequently see out in the wild. I didn’t think any of your outfits were boring at all!

I will NEVER understand someone coming into someone else's comments section to say something negative, especially after you posted something so positive (and were clearly loving what you were wearing and feeling confident!). Like, to take the time to say something negative about someone who feels and looks awesome? It's gross. You were one of the first 40-ish year old creators I saw unapologetically getting dressed, feeling confident, and sharing her outfits on here. I've taken a TON of inspiration from you (I even have a screenshot of one of your outfits I want to recreate).

I agree. I just don’t understand WHY people think they have the right to make a comment when they don’t like something. Scroll on…. Why am I on your FYP? If you comment- you’ll keep getting my videos. I am so tired of people being mean for no reason. It used to be that people were just awful online. Unfortunately; current climate in our country has led some people to believe that being cruel or disrespectful to others is acceptable!!

I love your style! I see/understand your aestetics as an expression of freedom and authenticity, so I would love and respect it even if I didn't like it (and I do 😊). Social media comments provide us with an insight into minds of others with no external accountability - isn't it sad to see just how cruel people get? OMG I’ve been just swinging in and out of this app bc it mostly just makes me feel sad lately! I had to just pop in to say (as l looked back at the post you referred to) that people just need to scroll on and keep their negative thoughts to themselves!! They were very rude!! ). You also shouldn’t have to explain yourself at ALL. Also as long as you love yourself and what you’re putting on makes you feel happy or cooler bc it’s hot af outside that’s all that truly matters. People are out of control these days.
