Cadillac cut off the Accord. Accord tried to swerve. His blind spot monitoring probably warned him you were there so he just slammed the brakes instead. Could have been a bad 3 car wreck.

Honda swerved to avoid being hit. This is a perfect example of why that’s a terrible way to avoid an accident when braking is optional. If the cadillac had hit the honda they would have been at fault. If the honda had hit the cammer honda would have been at fault while the cadillac driver got to go about their day. Defensive driving means learning how to avoid an accident without causing another.
