YEEEESSSS, it’s actually very common for artists performing long shows to do this. They often rest their voices during parts of songs to help prevent vocal cord strain, irritation, or even losing their voice, especially when they have concerts scheduled on consecutive days :))

That’s not really how that works though. Sometimes they use the playback while they’re lip syncing or having dance breaks/whatever, but most of the time they’re singing along with the playback. You can just hear her more clearly at the end because the playback cut out.
