See... when I got diagnosed at 12 the doctors told me "the reason you lost so much weight is because of the long effects of high bloods on your body" so when I was an insecure teen, I just didnt take my medication because I knew that would work... they didnt tell me about the massive negative impact when I was originally diagnosed though

I have ended up wheelchair bound and with multiple physical complications from diabulimia. even brain damage and dysautonomia (damaged my entire autonomic nervous system). I knew it existed and never in my wildest dreams thought I'd end up withholding insulin as a symptom of my existing ED's.

Oh yeah found out the hard way…. Lost 90 lbs in 3 months and all my muscle. Didn’t have enough money for food…. Lived on candy bars and very little insulin. Rough time of mynlife

Diagnosed at 12…suffered from diabulimia all throughout high school 😔 I didn’t know back then that it was an actual *disorder*. Kinda treated it like my own personal nifty little trick 😅

This scares me I've been on glp trizeptide for 6 months and haven't needed much insulin since !! It's crazy I haven't had any long acting since either and doing great
