@mummytravelsblog: Set sail with me on a boat trip from Argostoli - aboard the Queen Bee II, we headed from the Kefalonian capital to White Rocks beach (the name doesn't lie) then one of the little islands off the coast, Nisida Vardianoi where you want walk to the old lighthouse to a soundtrack of crickets (while dodging the thistles). Then the final stop at Xi Beach, where you'll come away looking 20 years younger - they say - if you cover yourself in clay from the cliffs. Whether you believe that or not, there are definitely crystal clear waters, snorkelling, paddleboards to borrow, cushions to chill out on on board, and a huge lunch of pastitsio (Greek lasagne) plus wine galore. Unless you are the one driving home afterwards!
