i work at a summer camp that's based in a national park, we take the kids on hikes and trails and stuff like that. last year one of my kids falls and sprains his ankle mid hike, so while i'm dressed in a full snake costume (green face paint, scales on my arms, the whole nine yards), i have to carry this boy on my back down the mountain to where his parents were waiting to take him home, i still wonder what it looked like from their perspective
