I don't understand how people get so worked up over texts. YOU DON'T KNOW EACHOTHER. Put that energy into meeting up and use texting as a way to keep in contact in between but let's not speedrun emotional intimacy via text when we can prioritise maintaining healthy lives and build the connection IN PERSON. because if they end up NOT liking you then you've wasted so much time and energy into texting when you couldve avoided that by just prioritising assessing actual chemistry and value alignment IN PERSON. Do you guys get mad when a friend doesn't text you back within 5 hours or do you assume they're busy and prioritise meeting in person? do you think that means your friend suddenly hates you? NO, so why are we putting extra weight and expectations from people who are essentially strangers.
