My mom found them, months after I had written them. She came into my room crying, I felt terrible I made her feel like that. She put me into therapy and I am the best Ive ever been. At first I was upset she found them, but now I am grateful because I no longer have those thoughts. It DOES get better.

For everyone saying "If you have letters you have reasons to stay" that's not always true, because I wrote letters to my family about how I'm sorry they have to deal with what I was going to do, that I hope they(siblings) grow up to be as good as I thought they would be, even if they kinda sucked, told my dad what to do with my stuff, and told my mom that I loved her but she needed to understand she had been part of the problem. Letters could be selfless acts of tell their family they're sorry but they wouldn't have stopped it, so please stop saying that quote.
