Random fact from my life for you. Everytime we would drive to Los Angeles we would always listen to rhapsody in blue and we would time it so the final part of the song would play as we went over the hill and into La and the finale notes would be as we looked at the La skyline 🥺

Fun fact: Gershwin found he had to compose this piece when reading a newspaper annoncement of this concerto. He managed to create this master piece in only 5 weeks.
