I actually don’t agree. Like your content. Seem pretty cool. But as a Christian who fell off and is now on a very intimate personal journey with Jesus and have serious beliefs after a wild season of survival. I believe that said person probably wants to be very specific and knowledgeable on said topic whether it be about their personal testimony religion art or whatever the case. So maybe they’re just desiring to talk about it, but really want to get it right before they do so. Actions first. Then speak.

as a christian, i respectfully disagree. i’ve found that over 15+ years of being a christian, the most effective way to evangelize is by your actions. i am always kind first because there is zero point in even bringing up religion to someone i know does not want to hear anything about it at all. the way i evangelize has absolutely nothing to do with my own personal faith walk and how much i do or don’t believe. BUT, as a creative, i 100% agree. i believe in my art enough to want people to see it.

Because you gotta believe in your self enough to not let the inevitable judgement shake you. I try to remember that most people who judge others most likely dont even have the capacity within themselves to feel and believe in the same way I do, so I shouldn’t be concerned with their opinions.

I think a lot of American Christians use their religion as an excuse for their political beliefs. They’re more happy to preach to you about that than Jesus.

@Stixen Stones: I’m a big fan- especially in terms of religion- of showing, not telling. I was Christian for 18 years and saw SO MANY rotten people. The loudest ones in the room were always the cruel ones. The true Christians were not the ones shoving it down my throat, they were just following the Bible earnestly and loving people, helping the poor, ect. They didn’t need to tell me how god changed their lives- I saw it. And too many Christians right now are worried about making sure everyone knows about Jesus, but not in how their actions reflect him.
