Hi everyone! I really didn’t expect so many people to relate to my last post. It’s honestly so comforting knowing there’s an entire community of people who understand what going no contact feels like. When I first started talking about it, I really didn’t expect so many people to relate. I knew there were other people out there who had made the same decision, but I didn’t realize just how many of us were carrying the same kind of heartbreak, guilt, grief, and confusion. Going no contact can feel incredibly lonely. Even when you know you made the decision for a reason, that doesn’t mean it suddenly stops hurting. There can still be days where you question yourself, miss the person you wish they could have been, or feel like nobody around you really understands why you had to make that choice. Seeing so many of you share your stories has reminded me that we really aren’t alone in this. I want my page to be more than just a place where I share my own experiences. I want it to feel like a little corner of social media where we can find each other. A place where you can read the comments and realize, “okay, someone else understands this too”. If you’re no contact, low contact, thinking about going no contact, or just healing from a relationship that has been painful for you, I hope you feel welcome here. Tell your story, read someone else’s, remind someone that they aren’t crazy for having boundaries, or remind someone that it’s okay to grieve a relationship and still know that stepping away was necessary. I really hope we can build a community where nobody has to feel completely alone in this. Heal out loud. 🤍 #nocontact #fyp #cyclebreaker #relateable #childhoodtrauma
