I love this place! I grew up in Crescent City, CA, just 20 miles south. Don’t forget to check out Stout Grove in Crescent City, Crescent Overlook (locals call it peckers knob, Tolowah Dunes state park in Fort Dick, second bridge in Hiouchi with the rope swing, and Walker rd on hwy 199 just before the Hiouchi bridge is where they filmed the Ewok village in the Star Wars movie. So worth the visit!

This trail has been closed since October 2022 due to how many people have been falling to their deaths. There's signage all over the permitted trail telling you this...it's really not cool to influence it on social media despite that.
