I am conflicted. He was foolish to actually believe that is how pardons work, BUT legally, those “lawyers” committed fraud. Are they really lawyers? They should be disbarred, if so. It’s probably also criminal, since it’s such a large amount of money. Will be interesting to see what happens.

I mean, pardons aren’t for sale & I think he should lose the money - BUT - I also feel like the con artists shouldn’t be able to keep it either. It should go to a charity of some sort.
