I have ulcerative colitis and have had a colonoscopy. The prep just sucks is all. Nothing to be scared of.

The prep is rank and make sure you get enough sedation for it and take two days rest had one last year it’s icky

Get the kettle and fire chicken BONE broth, higher in protein and gives your more of that satisfied hunger feeling, it smells weird the first couple times you have it but I warm it up and start my day with it now I actually look forward to it!

I hate to say it but the prep is BRUTAL! If they offer you sedation for your procedure 100% take it. My mum has colitis and it's awful when she's having a flare up xx Good luck for the 4th xxx

Started showing weird symptoms in my bowel movements early this year and went and got checked, ended up with mild/moderate colitis. Have had some bad lower left abdominal pain, but the constant joint pain is the worst for me 😩 prep honestly was not that bad EXCEPT how much liquid you have to drink from the prep(imo)💀 after that it’s a breeze, the nap is the best part

Feel better soon sweetie, I hope you got some painrelief? I have endometriosis too, what a party right 🥳?! I had a colonoscopy before, the prep was ok, make sure you have some sort of baby ointment. Here in Europe they gave me a sedation so I felt NOTHING and also remembered nothing (you’re not asleep, just knocked out)…the worst thing?? The farts afterwards 🙈😂😂😂…they were bad enough to scare a ghost, I swear!!! Keep us updated, normally the pain should get better with the liquid diet. Hang in there! 💪🏻❤️🥰
