@pagetoscene: the script announces it first: "What he says next will change the course of history." and then he says it 🐛⚔️ #dune #duneparttwo #lisanalgaib #paulatreides #dune3

61 Billion disliked this scene

John Cruise :

I love how you can see stilgar’s face grimace in despair because he knows millions will die

Daniel Montoya :

I wanted to run out of the theater screaming Lisan al-Gaib after watching this.

Asu :

God the score in the second movie is just amazing. I can't wait to see and hear what mind-blowing score and picture Denis Villeneuve and Hans Zimmer are going to give us next movie. The trailers are already out of this world

fridl.achten :

Great acting by everyone, but Timothy effin nails the gravitas of that sentence. Great movie, generational Score imo

Liquid Chris :

I remember going to watch this twice in IMAX worth every penny dude

asherr741 :

This is one of the few changes that I really disliked. The houses have zero reason to not recognize him as emperor. His family was betrayed by the imperial house, something they all fear, and he is marrying the princess legitimately . Threatening the spice fields ensures he controls the guild. In the book the jihad is due to uncontrolled religious fervor which is more on the actual theme and tragedy of religion.

AyawKoLabda :

fine, I'll watch Dune again

Oswin :

I feel like Timothee Chalamet did a great job in this scene. You can see the resignation in his face as he says "lead them to Paradise" knowing what will happen, but that there's no alternative given his situation.

mojojojo :

Timothee delivers this line so well. He slightly shakes his head before he says it. Knowing what is to come, knowing how many people will die. He’s almost in despair when he says it. HE IS SO GOOD

Abdulsamet YAPICI :

And then 1 billion people die.

J :

I miss watching dune in imax

controlledchaos :

2 years later and i still get goosebumps everytime 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

DudeWhoGames :

I forgot how God damn beautiful the soundtrack was

leek™️ :

this scene does sum to me man

danny :

moose :

the music so good

cas :

The soundtrack choice is PRISTINE

joe🎶 :

and that line tells him EXACTLY how to deliver the dialogue. perfect.

Lucas :

Watched the David Lynch’s adaptation when I was a kid. Thought it was a confusing mess. That could’ve been that I was a kid and wasn’t ready for such a complex story. Villeneuve’s visions though are absolute masterpieces. Stoked for 18.12.26.

SammieTheSloth216 :

In the books Paul knew he couldn’t stop the jihad, even if he killer himself it would have been worse, he blunted to worst of it where he could (I know 61 billion blunted?!) Paul and Leto the 2nd are not the villains of this story, Paul was thrown into a situation where his only choices were this or die and his son was the hero who saved humanity.

Kabza delo :

this scene was wow

mikey🏁🏎 ✰ ࿎ :

I wanna rewatch this in cinema so fucking bad 😭

Buyisile Makhanda :

one of the greatest movie
