I work at a middle school and I waited through all of the parent teacher conferences, all of the reminder announcements, all FIVE of the "this is your last reminder" emails about parents coming in to check the lost and found at the end of the school year. The day the custodian was packing things into bags for donation, I went through it and found four comfort hoodies in my kids sizes, three owala water bottles, and a pink hoodie with a big sunshine on the back that my kid freaked out about 😁 (I've seen them on tik tok) I can't believe parents don't go looking for lost items at school!
