Completely agree. I remember when I bought my 2005 E46 BMW M3 in 2014. I had my first oil change, little to my knowledge, it runs on special oil from Germany and costs around crap ton of money. The next was a throttle positionier, if memory serves. It was thousands of dollars and had to be done at the dealer. I’ll never forgot the guy telling me at the dealer, “your cars repair bill represent what it was when it was new”. The most factual words I had ever heard and it’s true. You buy a car that once cost $200,000 new, it comes with $200,000 car repair bills. Not $20,000 new car repair bills. 😂😂😂😂

A hose is such a cheap part regardless of the car. You can just buy radiator hose by meter and replace it, doesn’t even need to be a factory hose. 2k for that service is a complete robbery…

Best case scenario still kind of crazy. The coolant tank in my 458 was checked with cracks and was going to give up soon. I was amazed that a genuine replacement was like $230. Lucky I guess
