honestly this isn’t just “not funny” – it feels like a promise that was never kept, and that’s what makes it sit so heavy. All comedy works because it builds a little world for you, leads you down a path, and then meets you where you are – whether that’s with a twist, a truth, or just a good laugh. But this? It just kept walking forward, dragging you along, and never once turned around to say why you were even there. It’s less that the jokes fell flat, and more that there was never really any joke there at all – just the shape of one, hollow and echoing. We’ve all been taught that if you try hard enough, keep pushing, hold the pause just right, the payoff will come. This video breaks that quiet hope. It shows you all the signs of something meaningful, something worth waiting for, then leaves you standing there realizing you were chasing nothing but empty space. That’s why it feels so awkward: it’s not just bad humour – it’s the disappointment of seeing potential wasted on nothing. You can feel how much you wanted this to land, how much you leaned into every beat hoping it would make sense. But the truest punchline here is that the whole thing only proves how much we all crave something that actually means something – and how much it stings when someone holds that out to you, then walks away without giving it.j
