Airtel is far ahead of MTN as of today. Airtel is already listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE), which is one of the reasons you're seeing its remarkable growth. In my opinion, your investment is more likely to grow faster with Airtel than with MTN. Airtel also declared a dividend of ₦99.11 per share, compared with ₦30 per share for MTN. I don't believe Airtel is overvalued. Its current LSE share price is around £3.11. I believe it has the potential to rise further, possibly reaching the equivalent of ₦10,000 (about £5.36) before the end of the year, although, of course, no one can guarantee future price movements. Contrary to comments that the stock is illiquid, current order book activity suggests otherwise. There appear to be more buyers willing to pay above the current market price than there are sellers, indicating strong demand. If I had ₦10 million to invest today, I would allocate 90% to Airtel and 10% to MTN.

MTN I will choose because of their move into data center and partnership with cwg that means total dominance in Nigeria tech and telecom, Airtel is good for outside Nigeria exposure, but I believe in Nigeria growth so MTN is my pick
