So is the “problem” not social media then? The youths access to complex representations about personal gender identity oh wait no you think the issue is trans people right..

it’s also extremely homophobic. I grew up that tomboy girl who didn’t wanna do anything traditionally girly. I don’t even wanna imagine if i were to have been put on hormones and surgically manipulated as a result. Praying for the children of this world

thankyou as an autistic girl who was always very tomboyish growing up and used to say how she wants to be a boy, im very happy for my parents who just sat down with me and had a conversation instead of telling me stuff like okay were gonna get u on hormones!! cause if they did my life would genuinely be ruined now there is actually a huge overlap with autistic women + transgenderism i have no idea why i dont see someone talking about it on tiktok

I have no issues with transgender people but gender conversions are without a doubt pushed heavily through social media, and many young children, of which are at very malleable ages, are exposed to this. I was 13 when I changed my pronouns to she/they. I have absolutely no gender dysphoria, and I only did this because all my friends had unique pronouns and I wanted to fit in. I understand this is not the case for all people, but it's important to understand that children ARE NOT developed enough to make physical altering choices. There are many ways a child can express their gender without physical alteration and I feel as though if they still feel dysphoria at 18 or 21, then surgery or physical alterations is understandable

Literaalllyyyy why does the side that insists gender roles aren’t real also use gender roles to try and convince someone they’re the wrong gender

Masculinity and feminist are social constructs. Gender is not. I’ve been saying this for the longest. Being feminine or masculine doesn’t make your autonomy wrong

trans people aren't the same thing as just a feminine/androgynous boy or a masculine/androgynous girl. Hope that helps.

this. they need to stop calling behaviours, feelings, hobbies, clothes, interests ect. feminine or masculine that aren't strictly tied to biological anatomy. trans people just reaffirm stereotypes and genderroles

yet being trans is not really just about being feminine or masculine, feminine trans men and masculine trans woman exist too. for me its mainly about my body and the fact id way rather be called she/they. yall are not progressive, yall are just hating on a group because its being normalised again

and to add to it I was never allowed to act like a girl by my own father like any thing that could he seen as girly It just never fit on me and my sister could wear anything and was way more social but they made me feel like I was invisible unless I was there to make everyone laugh

People like this when they see masculine trans women and feminine trans men: “you are not even trying” “you could have stayed man/woman” etc

realizing that I was actually just an autistic girl who’s very uncomfortable with being a girl because of my autism (IYKYK) changed my whole view on gender ideology. living with trans women made me realize that being a girl is more than an identity.

Speaking of conversion therapy, it is also very common for people who transition to be attracted to the same sex and after transition considering themselves “straight”..

Self expression isn’t hinged on gender identity or sex, trans people have been trying to break and subvert expectations surrounding those things from the get go. Trans people irl are much more diverse and aren’t the ones enforcing these expectations of conformity
