@annsvan: My forest cottage if finally feeling more like home 🤍 It feels a little ridiculous admitting how emotional I got over finally getting a couch… but honestly, after the last few years, it means a lot more to me than I think most people would understand. For a long time, home looked very different for me. I lived out of a van for years.Then I moved into my mom’s attic while I was healing and trying to figure life out again.and somewhere in the middle of all of that, I stopped caring so much about things looking impressive and started caring more about how a space actually feels. safe.comfortable.calm. I haven’t had my own couch in years. So sitting here now, in my little unfinished forest cottage, on my dream couch, with Charlie curled up next to me… honestly just feels really special. This space still isn’t finished.Half the house still feels like a work in progress.
