نهاية المختار الثقفي بداية الصراع بعد أن تمكن المختار الثقفي من السيطرة على الكوفة، أعلن أن هدفه هو الاقتصاص من قتلة الإمام الحسين (ع). وخلال فترة حكمه، تمكن من القضاء على عدد كبير من أبرز المشاركين في واقعة كربلاء، مما جعل له أنصارًا كثيرين، وفي الوقت نفسه أكسبه أعداءً أقوياء. وبعد أن استقرت الأوضاع نسبيًا، بدأ خصومه يعدّون العدة لإنهاء حكمه، وكان أبرزهم عبد الله بن الزبير الذي رأى أن بقاء المختار يشكل خطرًا على سلطته. ⸻ زحف جيش مصعب بن الزبير كلف عبد الله بن الزبير أخاه مصعب بن الزبير بقيادة جيش كبير انطلق من البصرة نحو الكوفة. وعندما اقترب الجيش، دارت معارك عنيفة خارج المدينة، ثم انتهت بمحاصرة المختار داخل قصر الإمارة في الكوفة. كان جيش مصعب يفوق قوات المختار عددًا وعدة، واستمر الحصار حتى بدأت المؤن تنفد واشتد الضغط على المحاصرين. ⸻ تفرق الأنصار مع طول الحصار، بدأت معنويات كثير من المقاتلين تضعف، فاختار عدد كبير منهم مغادرة المختار وترك القتال، بينما استسلم آخرون طلبًا للأمان. وفي النهاية، لم يبق مع المختار إلا قلة من أصحابه الذين رفضوا الاستسلام، وقرروا البقاء إلى جانبه حتى النهاية مهما كانت النتيجة. ⸻ الرجال الذين ثبتوا معه رغم إدراكهم أن النصر أصبح شبه مستحيل، بقي المخلصون مع المختار ولم يغادروا مواقعهم. اختاروا القتال بدلًا من الاستسلام، وآثروا الموت معه على النجاة بتركه، ليكونوا آخر المدافعين عن قصر الإمارة. ⸻ أعداد الجيشين * جيش مصعب بن الزبير: نحو 20 ألف مقاتل. * أنصار المختار في بداية الحصار: عدة آلاف من المقاتلين. * الذين بقوا معه حتى القتال الأخير: نحو 700 رجل. ⸻ القتال الأخير بعد أن نفدت المؤن واشتد الحصار، رفض المختار الاستسلام، وارتدى سلاحه وخرج مع من بقي معه من أصحابه. اندفعوا نحو جيش يفوقهم عددًا بأضعاف، وقاتلوا بشجاعة في شوارع الكوفة، ولم يتراجعوا رغم كثرة المهاجمين. كان القتال شديدًا، وسقط أصحابه واحدًا تلو الآخر وهم يدافعون عنه، حتى بقي المختار يقاتل بنفسه في الصفوف الأولى. واستمر في القتال حتى قُتل وهو يحمل سيفه، لتنتهي بذلك دولته بعد مقاومة عنيفة. ⸻ نهاية المختار بمقتل المختار انتهى حكمه في الكوفة، وسيطر مصعب بن الزبير على المدينة، وانتهت واحدة من أكثر الفترات اضطرابًا في تاريخ العراق الإسلامي. ورغم نهاية دولته، بقي اسم المختار مرتبطًا بحركة الثأر للإمام الحسين (ع)، وبالمعارك التي خاضها ضد من شاركوا في واقعة كربلاء. #وهم_ilr344 #المختار_الثقفي
