people can get triggered by bread cutting (especially w/ red insides) because of learned connections, actually. and the brain recgonizes something that resembles injury. it’s not exactly about the bread itself, but the motion and visual pattern. as someone who had struggled with self harm before, it hasn’t personally affected me, but i can absolutely understand how it can affect someone else. this is personally my opinion, but i’d love to hear points from the other side of this!! have a great day! ◡̈

In case you don’t know why many people need a trigger warning for this it’s people struggling with self harm themselves. The way it cuts in slowly and purposely red inside reminds them of things they’ve gone through. That’s why they need a trigger warning
