This types of books in my opinion are supposed to be read when you have so much going on inside your head. When fantasy is too heavy, when thriller doesn’t fit in your current mood. I always love to read them when it happens to me and for sure they were exactly what I needed at that point

I just finished till summer do us part and I felt the same way. It was good but like that’s it and I hate that bc I lovedddd Meghan Quinn before she started cranking out like 3 books a year

I love Meghan Quinn, but I do find a lot of her books follow the same plot, just with different characters. I still LOL reading them and will continue to read them. But some are better than others. A Not So Meet Cute and Vacation Wars are my favorites!

I got to page 72 in Rules for the Summer and I said “hell no”. I felt like I was reading straight brain rot. I just couldn’t get into it. This was my first book of hers, and I went in already knowing she writes books with comedy, but damn, it was basically insufferable for me. Hard DNF. I’m in such a slump this month now.
