I disagree with Aruba, I had the best time. Our itinerary was lit!!! Booked a party bus, club hopped, beaches, boot trip, food, everything was amazing! One of my favorite places 10/10.

If you ever consider going back to Costa Rica, highly recommend leaving Tamarindo. It’s way too touristy. The best excursions are a few hours away. Beautiful waterfalls rainforest, dry forest, so much wildlife and beautiful views. Some of the prettiest waterfalls I’ve ever seen! The Caribbean side of Costa Rica is breathtaking.. slower way of life! Not a lot of partying, but beautiful places to stay and see.

You should check out Sint Maarten. It was a vibe and you can take a ferry to Anguilla from there. I went to Cartagena last year and while it was nice the people begging is so annoying and the ladies kept touching me on the beach for massages.

Go back to DR and get out of the resort and you will have a better experience. Resort food is mid, you need to taste some local food. I agree with you on Aruba, beautiful place but def boring. If you return to Bahamas go to Exuma, if you love beaches it’s unreal. It’s not for partying though but if beautiful beaches you seek that’s def it.
