Historian here. Please add the civil war between the federalist and Unitarians between 1814 and 1880. How the federalist supported integration of Afro-Argentinians into the society, many of them fighting for that side. Yet the Unitarians won which led to Sarmiento taking control of the country. You are also forgetting the war of the triple alliance which led to over 30k casualties in Argentina alone, many of them Afro-Argentinians. Yellow fever epidemics that devastated poor populations during this time.

Um, Don't gloss over Argentina was the Nazi retirement community after WWII. There's literally a town/city where 💯% of everything is German from signs, language, customs, etc and they don't want non-white nor non-German speakers there
