Something i love to think is that Cyberpunk 2077 is a love story, one destined to end. A love story between V and Johnny, whether it be platonic or romantic love. Its destined to end because they’re both dead, but on borrowed time. Destined to end because either one getsthe body, or neither. No matter how serious pr humorous Cyberpunk may be, it will always be tragic. It is a love story destined to end, because it was never meant to be. Because it is a love that can never be eternal

V died with Jackie that day, the same way that Johnny isn’t the real Johnny and just a copy, after V dies just a copy of his brain is uploaded to his body

I HAVE TO GET DORKY AND CORNY ABOUT THIS!!! I feel like with all of the endings the moral of the story was you cannot escape death. Technically no matter what V dies. V either looses all their abilities, stripping V of what she/he had ALWAYS been. Effectively killing that part of V. V can run off and try to find a cure which as far as we know…wasn’t very possible. V can give their body to Johnny and technically die. Or V can go out with a bang and technically commit Su-cide, ending Johnny and themselves. No matter what V was going to die. Despite being a notorious criminal/Merc V was still mortal. Under all the cyberware, the weapons, and the intelligence…V was still a human. V dying solidified that.

The thing that made me understand the situation between V and Johnny so much better is in the DLC when you go to use the mirror in the safe house instead of seeing V you see Johnny it shows how the relic is slowly killing V and making space for Johnny two souls on borrowed time bonding so well that the see each other as one another but in the end no matter how strong the bond may be it has to end for the sake of the others life.

Every ending felt so wrong to me, V loses her humanity for the sake of Johnny, she loses Johnny but still has to find a cure to keep her from dying, V having to end her life for their sake..? But I do enjoy the choice, because at first you would want Johnny to be gotten rid of in act l, but as the game progresses, you get attached which makes you question your morality for him and in the end you don’t know what to do anymore.

You have no idea how much I love the dynamic between these two. I know they're the same character but something about Johnny living in the body of a woman feels like it gives their relationship a whole new layer and makes it interesting in a completely different way. (My stealth sandevistan V)
