One time at Panera they had one monster cookie left and I heard the little girl behind me say “mom there’s one left yeah”. Mind you I was already getting the cookie but ordered it and the girl started crying and the mom was like “thanks a lot that was so nice” Like girl idc.

I had a dad and his daughter (maybe 6-7yo) come up to me and ask if she can pet my dog - Rottweiler, in training, with a vest on that says “DO NOT PET”. I just said, “No.” Didn’t fluff it up or apologize, just no. Girl started bawling, dad got mad. 🤷🏼♀️Obviously they never tell her no and that’s not my problem.

I have a canned response for moments such as these: “My lawyer says that it’s a liability and a safety issue”. God forbid there’s something in the cake that the child is allergic to, and these type of people will not hesitate to sue the pants off you!!

I saw a video about children being forced to share their things with kids who walk over a grab their toys. It teaches the grabber of said toy that all they have to do is grab what they want and that the other child MUST be kind and how rotten that train of thinking is.
