I received a card in the mail box and it described my symptoms exactly. I took the card to my Doctor and he said he didn't believe Fibromyalgia was a "a thing". I said "I don't care what it is called, but it is a thing". I did get him to send me to a Doctor who had diagnosed a cousin with Fibromyalgia. This Doctor said I definitely had it but there was no medicine for it. I tried every psudo fix that I read about and nothing helped. That was 30 + years ago. At 77 I have existed with it. My husband said I would have a good day and over-do then be down for 2 days. At this age it's way more than 2 days now.

People do not believe me when I tell them my worst days I’m in crutches and can’t even comb my hair or do anything. I tell people they’ll never see me in a flare because I can’t function and I won’t be able to do anything at all. Not even get dressed.

My husband said it blows his mind how I can walk by him halfway normal and then 30 seconds later I am dragging myself through the house looking like I’m having a stroke!😳😭

I did my first session of PT for my neck “cervical” b-cuz my insurance won’t pay for an MRI with out PT! Ugh 😩 i will be out of commission for at least 3 days I just can’t do PT I have RA-Lupus-Fibro-dysautonomia to name a few lol 😝

Crash :
21 years military. 4 tours Iraq. 5 back surgeries. Neck surgery. Going in for a hip replacement this month. I still fight to be active and not home bound.
